Rewritable memory encoded into DNA of living cells

A research team led by Jerome Bonnet, a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University, succeeded in encoding, storing and erasing digital data within the DNA of living cells.

The human body cells could thereby be doctored to slow down the aging process. This encoding of the DNA could also lead to destroying or repairing of certain cancerous cells...

This research finding could pave way for great achievements in the field of medical science.
